The Petal Blouse is a romantic and feminine blouse with a sweetheart neckline, puff sleeves and a peplum at the bottom of the body.
It is worked top down, starting with the back piece. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, and the front pieces are worked before the blouse is joined in the round under the arms. The body features optional bust darts and two double knitted channels followed by a peplum. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are finished with one double knitted channel and a peplum in the same way as on the body. I-cord edges are worked around the neckline and at the end of the sleeves and the body.

Bust circumference of the blouse: approx. 75, 80, 85, 90, 95 (100, 105, 110, 115, 120) {125, 130, 135, 140, 145} cm.
Fits a bust circumference of: approx. 75-80, 80-85, 85-90, 90-95, 95-100 (100-105, 105-110, 115- 120, 120-125, 125-130) {130-135, 135-140, 140-145, 145-150, 150-155} cm.
Intended negative ease: 5-0 cm for sizes 1-7 and 10-5 cm for sizes 8-15.
This means that you should choose the size with the bust circumference that is 0-10 cm SMALLER than your actual bust circumference.
Length: approx. 10 cm longer than the smallest point of your waist.
Gauge: 27 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles after washing and blocking.
Note that the recommended yarn may knit up slightly smaller on the gauge swatch. I therefore recommend that you also check your gauge once you’ve started knitting your project to make absolutely sure that it won’t turn out too big.
Recommended needles: 3 mm circular needles (40, 60 and 80/100 cm) and 2,5 mm circular needles (40/60 cm).
Recommended yarn: 300, 400, 400, 400, 400 (400, 400, 400, 500, 500) {500, 500, 500, 500, 500} g of Cupid Knits Merino Silk (100 g = 300 m).
Extra materials: 5 stitch markers (1 for the BOR and 4 extras) and some thin elastic thread.
